The flower show came and went. It was an experience. It was almost three city blocks of nothing but flowers, venders, and middle-aged women. Mind-blowing. It made me miss my mom, I know she would have liked it.
The theme was Paris, so they had a reproduction of the base of the Eiffel tower covered in lights and lots of themed gardens with wonderful arrangements, including one called underground Paris (shown above), which had a very skeletal theme. The event also included a wine-tasting, high tea, a lot of product demos. It is apparently has huge draw because I met people from many nearby states.
While not something I, personally, would make an annual event it was a great way to say goodbye to winter and ring in the warmer weather.
